From the 1st February 2023, the dispensary phone and main reception will no longer be taking orders for repeat prescriptions. Wherever possible please use online services or the NHS App to request your repeat medication. Please see full details here. You can also still drop your paper repeat slip into one of the posting boxes at the surgery.
Please do not direct dispensary queries via reception. Thank you
Ordering a repeat prescription
REMINDER – allow 5 working days for our dispensary to process prescriptions – please note this does not include weekends or Bank Holidays. You will receive a text message when your prescription is ready to collect. Please do not call or visit the surgery before this time unless your medication is urgently needed. This has a delaying effect for other patients.
In person - There is a post box situated outside the main entrance of Reception and on the Dispensary wall, please place your repeat form or a note with your request including your name, address, date of birth and contact details.
Online - You can download the NHS app via your app store or log in online. This will give you access to ordering your repeat medication online. The NHS app log in details can be used to log into Airmid, which is an alternative app providing access to your medical record, and online ordering. This can be found on your app store link available here. If you have previously been given access, you can log into Systmonline to order your prescription.
When arriving at Dispensary

Patients who are wishing to register for this service should complete a consent form (obtainable from the village shop or dispensary) and hand it in at the village shop or the dispensary. Please note we can not accept verbal or online requests for registration.
We would like to thank the staff at the village shop for their help and co-operation.
Please show consideration to our Dispensary and Reception staff when they are dealing with your queries. We are trying our best to help you and to provide the best service to patients
Medicines Management
Your GP Practice supports a medicines management review service of medications prescribed to its patients. This service involves a review of prescribed medications to ensure patients receive the most appropriate, up to date and cost-effective treatments. This service is provided by qualified and registered healthcare professionals from within the GP practice, our NHS Primary Care Network, NHS North Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group or by external partners approved by the GP practice. Patient identifiable information does not leave the practice system but is accessed to ensure only appropriate clinical recommendations or decisions are made for each patient. Each patient can opt out of (or back into) the practice using their data for anything other than specified purposes or where there is a lawful requirement to do so.
