Dr Eisner's Retirement Posted or Updated on 14 Jul 2021

After over 30 years as a partner at Church Lane Surgery Dr Clare Eisner will embark on the next phase of her life and retire at the end of November.

Dr Eisner was the first female partner of Church Lane Surgery and has played a key role in the modernisation and development of the practice. She has seen, cared for and supported an extraordinary number of people from our community in that time. Dr Eisner has particularly helped with the development of services for diabetic patients, the monitoring of quality within the practice and the training of countless GPs, ensuring a legacy of great care that will extend beyond her retirement. She will be hugely missed by all within the practice.

It is perhaps a measure of Dr Eisner’s impact that we will be taking on two new doctors to replace her – Dr Bell and Dr Lodh – who will be joining us in January. In the meantime we hope patients will join us in wishing Dr Eisner a wonderful, and well earned, retirement.
